You don’t have to eat this super berry breakfast bowl at home out of a bowl. If you’re in a rush and usually eat your breakfast on the go or need something portable to take with you to work, you can prep this dish in a mason jar or plastic container and take it with you.
This recipe makes one breakfast bowl which is enough to serve one adult. However, you can halve the ingredients and make a small bowl for a child or a snack or increase the ingredients to make as many breakfast bowls as you need.
This breakfast bowl can be eaten either straight away as soon as you make it or a few days later – it’s the perfect make-ahead breakfast. To prep this dish in advance, follow the recipe below then wrap the bowl in plastic wrap and place in the fridge. The dish will store perfectly well in the fridge for up to five days.
- ½ cup Greek yogurt
- 3 strawberries
- 6 raspberries
- 1 tablespoon shredded coconut
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon cacao nibs
- 1 tablespoon rolled gluten-free oats
- Fill a serving bowl with the Greek yogurt then top with all the other ingredients.
