Peach Melba Smoothie

If you’ve gotten into a bit of a slump with your morning smoothie routine, try this delicious recipe to spice things up! Made with tart raspberries, sweet peaches and juicy oranges, this peach melba smoothie really wakes up the senses and will get you ready for the day ahead, whatever it entails!

Plus, thanks to the raspberries – which have the highest fiber content out of all the fruits – this smoothie will easily keep the hunger pangs away until lunchtime, so you won’t even be tempted by the offerings of the vending machine.

Four ingredients and five minutes of your time in the morning is all it takes to make this yummy, healthy smoothie you can sip leisurely at home or enjoy on your way to work. But smoothies aren’t just for breakfast. This energy-packed nutritious drink is also a great pre- or post-workout snack!

This recipe makes one large peach melba smoothie which is enough to serve one adult or two children, but you can easily increase the ingredients to make as many smoothies as you want. Although a lot of smoothies will separate if left in the fridge for a few hours, this one won’t. This means you can prepare it in advance and keep it in the fridge for a healthy grab-and-go breakfast. If you store this smoothie inside a sealed container or cup in the fridge, it will keep perfectly well for up to five days, although you might need to stir in a little milk to thin the consistency when you’re ready to drink.

  • 1/3 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 small peach, de-stoned and chopped
  • 1 small orange, peeled and chopped
  • ½ cup almond milk

  1. Place all the ingredients into a high-powered blender and blend for around 1 minute, until all the ingredients have broken down and you’ve got a thick smoothie.
  2. Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy.
