2 pounds of chicken breast, cut into cubes
1 lemon zest and juice
½ teaspoon of turmeric
½ teaspoon of garlic powder
½ teaspoon of paprika
½ teaspoon of dried oregano
½ teaspoon of baking soda
Salt and pepper
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. You can prepare it a day in advance and leave it in the fridge, letting the chicken absorb all the spices. Let it sit for at least 20 minutes up to overnight. Mix periodically.
Stick the skewers into the chicken.
Grill over medium heat about 6 minutes on each side.
Serve with a salad or grilled vegetables.
